Butler Police2:11 a.m. Tuesday — Brandy J. Kutsch, 31, of Butler was arrested for driving under the influence on West Diamond Street. Kutsch also was cited for driving without headlights on, a police report said.

State Police, Butler1:37 p.m. Dec. 23 — Joshua Daniel Miller, no age given, of Petrolia was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence at Hohn Road and Route 38 in Oakland Township.Dec. 20 — Police accused Justin E. McKivigan, 27, of Butler with shoplifting a pair of earrings valued at $140 from the Boscov’s store at Clearview Mall in Center Township on Dec. 1. McKivigan was cited for summary retail theft.

State Police, KittanningMonday — Construction equipment valued at $2,000 was stolen from a storage unit in a burglary on Freeport Road on South Buffalo Township. The unknown burglar stole the property from the unit inside one of several locked storage sheds that was broken into between 5 p.m. Sunday and 7:45 a.m. Monday.12:15 p.m. Saturday — A car driven by Nina Taladay, 30, of Freeport struck a pickup truck that was parked on Washington Street in Freeport.4:30 a.m. Saturday — Brett Mateer, 20, of Templeton lost control of his pickup and the vehicle ended wedged between two trees along Route 1053 in Boggs Township.

State Police, Mercer2:15 a.m. Tuesday — Albert D. Mee, 40, of Belle Vernon, Fayette County, was arrested for driving under the influence at Route 173 and George Junior Road in Pine Township. Mee, following his arrest, was placed in Mercer County Jail on several unrelated warrants.10:20 p.m. Monday — A car driven by Joseph J. Lantini, 23, of Struthers, Ohio, and a sport utility vehicle driven by Nicholas G. Miller, 23, of Grove City collided at West Main Street and George Junior Road in Pine Township. Police said Lantini was cited for a red light violation.
