Fire and EMS crews battled a vehicle blaze and the brutal cold elements Wednesday morning. Responders from Cranberry Township and Harmony fire and EMS were dispatched to Heights Drive in Cranberry Township at about 10 a.m. Wednesday for a report of a plow truck on fire. Crews worked to douse the flames in the engine and cab areas. Cranberry police were also on scene, and Heights Drive was closed at Route 19 while the fire was put out. The road was re-opened by 11 a.m., and the truck was towed from the scene.
