1,000 customers still without power
PARKER, Armstrong County — About 1,000 Central Electric Cooperative customers were still without power Tuesday following Sunday’s high-wind event.
At the outage peak, CEC had about 8,600 members without power.
CEC crews, along with crews from other cooperatives who have arrived to assist, have been working around the clock and will continue to do so, until every member’s power has been restored, the cooperative said.
Central Electric Cooperative is a Touchstone Energy Cooperative serving about 25,000 members with over 3,000 miles of distribution line in portions of Allegheny, Armstrong, Butler, Clarion, Forest, Mercer and Venango counties.
