The Pittsburgh Huskies Bantam hockey team defeated the North Pittsburgh Wildcats 4-3 in the semifinals and topped the Johnstown Jets 4-1 in the Pittsburgh Amateur Hockey league championship.

Against the Wildcats, Jason Edsall and Christian Miller tallied two goals each while Cam Lydick, Nick Whann, Troy Double, Ethan Marie, Alex Welsh and Eric Leya had an assist each.

In the championship final, Double, Miller, Dustin Davis and Dylan Rice recorded goals.

Goalie Clay Bachman stopped 26 of 30 shots over the two games in net for the Huskies, who rang up their second consecutive title.

Noah Moody, Shaun Welsh, Matt Tomasovic and Cody Krstonich also were members of the team, which finished the regular season at 16-0-4.
