The Butler junior high boys track and field team (6-0) extended its unbeaten streak to 41 dual meets with a 77-50 win over Shaler.

First-place finishers for the Golden Tornado included Byron Minous in the 110 high hurdles, Tyler Widenhofer in the 800 meters, Barry Murray in the high jump, Josh Boozel in the pole vault, Jacob Lenhart in the shot put and discus.

The 1,600-meter relay team of Robert Burdine, Matt Christy, Widenhofer and Austin Grupp finished first as well.
