Cecelia E. Adams
Cecelia E. Adams, 60, of O'Hara Township, Allegheny County, formerly of Sugarcreek Township and Kaylor, Armstrong County, died Friday at the VA Medical Center in Pittsburgh.
Born Oct. 26, 1947, in Butler, she was the daughter of Joseph D. and Rosalie T. (Zavilla) Adams.
She was a 1965 graduate of East Brady High School and a graduate of Duff's Business School, Pittsburgh, with a degree in accounting.
She enjoyed painting, crocheting and crafts. She worked as a bookkeeper for 10 years at Logan Candy Co.
She served in the U.S. Navy.
She was a member St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, Bradys Bend. She was also a member of American Legion Post 106, Sharpsburg.
She is survived by a brother, David E. Adams and his wife, Jean, of Lancaster Township; two uncles, Samuel Adams of Sugarcreek Township and Andrew Adams of Espyville, Pa.; and three aunts, Anna Stevenson of Chicora, Nora Eyth of Butler and Josephine Stivison of Butler. She is also survived by many cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
<B>ADAMS</B> — Friends of Cecelia E. Adams, who died Friday, Oct. 10, 2008, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the <B>CHARLES B. BUECHELE FUNERALHOME</B>, 105 Fourth Street, East Brady. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Patrick Church, East Brady, with the Rev. Joseph Bonafed, pastor of St. Patrick Church, officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Bradys Bend. A Parish Prayer Service will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.Memorials may be given to St. Patrick Church, 915 State Route 68, East Brady, PA 16028.
