Tuesday — Police charged Krystal M. Koch, 20, of Mars with drunken driving and speeding on Beaver Street Extension stemming from a 1:05 a.m. Sept. 9 traffic stop. In addition to driving under the influence and speeding, Koch is charged with DUI by a minor and underage drinking.

7:44 p.m. Sunday — A motorcyclist was seriously hurt when his 2007 Harley-Davidson crashed into a guardrail on Interstate 79 in Cranberry Township. The man, who police did not identify, was thrown off the bike and landed on the side of the road. He was wearing a helmet.A medical helicopter later flew the man to an unknown Pittsburgh hospital. Police said their investigation continues.Sunday — A Slippery Rock University student was seriously injured after an unknown suspect struck him outside the Heights Apartments in Slippery Rock Township. The assault knocked Matthew D. Demauro, 21, of West Virginia to the ground, causing the injuries. His condition was not known this morning.A police report said that moments before the assault, Demauro was throwing rocks in the apartment complex parking lot and yelling racial slurs.Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call police at 724-284-8100.9:45 a.m. Saturday — Two people from Allegheny County were hurt in a one-vehicle crash on I-79 in Jackson Township. The wreck happened when Arthur H. Dickter, 52, of Allison Park lost control of his car, struck an embankment and rolled onto its roof.Dickter and a passenger, Marcia Kramer, 73, of Pittsburgh, were taken to UPMC Passavant Cranberry with unknown injuries; both were wearing seat belts.2 a.m. Friday — A car driven by Timothy D. Rice, 24, of Harmony crashed into a ditch and retaining wall at Scott Ridge and Camp Run roads in Lancaster Township. Police said Rice faces tickets for driving at an unsafe speed and not wearing a seat belt.12:35 a.m. Friday — A car driven by Sudhir Timsina, 25, of Slippery Rock crashed into a large metal piece of equipment, which was strapped to a wooden pallet, came loose and fell from a flat-bed trailer onto Interstate 79 just northwest of Pfeifer Road in Muddy Creek Township. Timsina lost control of his car and hit a guardrail.Police said Tracy J. Ion, 52, of Karns City, who was driving the Peterbilt truck that was towing the trailer, was cited for not properly securing his load.Friday — A Honda generator was among several items worth a combined $2,650 stolen in a burglary at a home on Sandy Point Road in Allegheny Township. Also taken were two Poulan chain saws, DeWalt circular saw and Sears Craftsman cordless drill and impact driver kit. The break-in happened between 1 p.m. Thursday and 9:20 p.m. Friday.12:35 p.m. Thursday — Paul C. Callihan, 75, of Chicora was hurt when the car he was driving crashed into three vehicles in the parking lot at the Chicora Medical Center in Donegal Township. Callihan, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with moderate injuries.Thursday — The passenger side mirror of a 2006 Hummer was stolen from a home on Dick Road in Franklin Township. The theft happened Wednesday or Thursday.Thursday — A red, 6-gallon Attwood boat fuel tank filled with gasoline was stolen from a home on Kennedy Road in Prospect. The tank was taken Wednesday or Thursday.10:55 p.m. Wednesday — A car driven by Tara E. Patterson, 23, of Butler struck an embankment on Route 8 just north of Larchwood Drive in Penn Township. Police said Patterson was cited for driving at an unsafe speed.8:04 a.m. Sept. 10 — Kayla Conlon-Colagrande, 19, of Slippery Rock was hurt when the car she was driving rear-ended another car on Route 173 in Brady Township. Charles Cavolo, 42, of Grove City was the other driver.Sept. 10 — An unknown thief stole several car radiators, copper wire, aluminum rims and a Rigid sawzall from Noland's Garage on Pfeifer Road in Muddy Creek Township. The theft happened between 8 p.m. Sept. 9 and 9 a.m. Sept. 10.9:45 a.m. Sept. 8 — A car driven by Scott Geibel Jr., 17, of Fenelton crashed into a yard and several shrubs on Hinchberger Road in Summit Township.12:01 a.m. Sept. 8 — Terry Alan Graham, 40, was arrested after he allegedly threatened his girlfriend and two of her young daughters during a domestic dispute at their home on Rolling Valley Lane in Connoquenessing Township.Police said Graham initially began yelling at Angela Bodema's three daughters, ages 8, 9 and 12. He got a knife, according to court documents, held it in front of the 9 year old's face and threatened to kill her.When the older girl yelled out that she was calling police, the defendant allegedly threatened her life, too.Later, police said, he jumped over the kitchen counter and held Bodema on the table by the throat with knife in hand. She eventually was able to leave the home and go to a neighbor's house where her 16-year-old son was staying.The boy, accompanied by three friends, returned home, where Graham allegedly put his hand over the teen's face and pushed him. The defendant also punched one of the boy's friends, a 17-year-old boy, in the head.Graham was arraigned on charges of child endangerment, terroristic threats, reckless endangerment, disorderly conduct and harassment, and placed in the Butler County Prison on $50,000 bail.

Wednesday — An unknown burglar stole food snacks after breaking into the East Brady Football League's concession stand at Sugarcreek Community Park in Sugarcreek Township. The break-in happened between 8:30 p.m. Tuesday and 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.State Police, Mercer2 p.m. Saturday — Jeffrey S. Branson, 29, of Pittsburgh was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after his car sideswiped a pickup truck on Route 19 in Springfield Township. Mary E. Pumphrey, 71, of New Castle was driving the pickup.

Friday — An unknown burglar made off with jewelry, money and an older Harrington & Richardson pistol after breaking onto a home on Shaffer Road in Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County.Sept. 6 — A .357-caliber Smith & Wesson pistol was stolen from a vehicle at a home on Dutch Ridge Road in Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County. The gun was taken between Aug. 13 and Sept. 6.
