YOUTH SPORTS

The West Sunbury Diamondbacks won five games in one day, coming back to win the double-elimination Little League tournament held at the Prospect Boys and Girls Club.

Victories were over Prospect, Harrisville, Slippery Rock and Marion (twice). The Diamondbacks outscored the opposition 60-3. All three runs were given up in the final game, a 7-3 victory.

Eric Boben is the West Sunbury head coach, assisted by Donnie Boben, Kevin Boben, Mike Marterella and Carl Reeder.

Team members include Josh Adamson, Zack Adamson, Derek Boben, Levi Helms, Wyatt Ifft, Emily Lasichak, Aaron Marterella, Nick Pflugh, Dalton Smith, Brendon Stamm and Greg Sutton. Batboy was Cole Pflugh.
