Carmella and Robert Critchlow

Robert and Carmella Critchlow of Butler celebrated 50 years of marriage recently by renewing their vows. Adinner reception followed at the home of their daughter in Renfrew.

The former Carmella Bonetti married Critchlow on June 2, 1956, at First United Methodist Church in Butler.

They have five children, Valerie Balsiger and Tara Allman, both of Butler; Robin Wolfe and Margie Becker, both of Renfrew; and Robert Critchlow Jr. of Williamston, S.C.They also have 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.Critchlow is a retired self-employed contractor. He enjoys woodworking.Mrs. Critchlow is a homemaker. She enjoys water aerobics, walking and reading.The couple belongs to First United Methodist Church. They enjoy traveling.
