Rose M. Lumley
Rose M. Lumley, 72, of East Butler died Saturday at her home.
Born June 1, 1936, in Pittsburgh, she was a daughter of Charles J. and Catherine Geyer Connelly.
Rose worked in the housekeeping department at Butler Memorial Hospital for more than 15 years until her retirement in 1997. She then worked another five years for the Telephone Collection Service of Glomb & Rich Co. in Valencia.
She also was a homemaker, mother and grandmother and was a member of the St. Peter Roman Catholic Church.
Surviving are a son and his wife, Paul L. and Vickie Lumley of Butler; two daughters, Mrs. Dan (Judy) Fishel of Cabot and Mrs. Ben (Lori) Herald of East Butler; a brother and his wife, Ronald and Jean Connelly of North Hampton; a sister, Mrs. Peter (Betty) Immekus of Pittsburgh; six grandchildren, Jerrod, Jace and Jordan Lumley, Carissa Fishel and Joshua and Cody Herald; and several nieces and nephews.
A brother and three sisters preceded her in death.
<B>LUMLEY</B> — Friends of Rose M. Lumley, who died Saturday, June 7, 2008, will be received from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the <B>Geibel Funeral Home</B>, 201 E. Cunningham St. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the St. Peter Roman Catholic Church with the Rev. Pierre Falkenhan officiating. Burial will follow at the Calvary Cemetery.The Women's Council of St. Peter Parish will recite the rosary at 9:35 a.m. Tuesday at the church.Information also is available at www.geibelfuneralhome.com.
