Lunchtime concerts, hosted by the Butler County Symphony Association, take place at noon Fridays, some in the symphony office at 259 S. Main St. and some in Diamond Park, across from the Butler County Courthouse on Main Street. Scheduled for Friday is Washboard Tony & Nic playing folk with a twist, outdoors in Diamond Park. Greater Cranberry Men’s Chorus, also known as The Bogmeisters, is scheduled to perform at 10 a.m. Saturday for the Cranberry CUP kick off.

The free Family Concert Series, sponsored by the Butler County Parks and Recreation Department, begins at 6:30 p.m. Tuesdays through Aug. 13 in the Odd Fellow Gazebo at Alameda Park in Butler Township. The Musicians’ Concert Band, finishing its 34th performance season, will present the Trinity Jazz Group on Thursday at Butler Intermediate High School’s auditorium. The suggested donation for each concert is $5. Visit www.musiciansconcertband.com.

The free Summer Concert Series in Harmony takes place on the square. Performing at 7 p.m. Aug. 8 will be KardaZ, a six member pop/rock band styled from the look and sound of the 1960s and 1970s.Audience members should take their own seating. Call 724-452-6780.

Zelienople Community Park Amphitheatre is the site of a Summer Concert Series. Smoking Section is scheduled to play the blues at 7 p.m. Friday, weather permitting.
