Monday — Michael Wiser reported that someone between 4 and 6 p.m. took an 18-speed bicycle from the porch of his Fourth Avenue home. The mountain bike, black with red and silver stripes is a Roadmaster model valued at $70.

10:34 a.m. Sunday — Mike Cumblidge, 35, of Butler lost control of his car apparently after its steering gave out pulling out of the Sheetz store onto Evans City Road. The car crossed three lanes of traffic and struck a concrete curb and embankment.

5:14 p.m. Sunday — A sport utility vehicle driven by Mandy Bittenger, 33, of Parker struck a deer on Route 38 near Whitling Road in Richland Township. Police said Bittenger was cited for driving with a suspended license, and driving without insurance and without inspection.2:55 a.m. Sunday — Police said Frank N. Davenport, 18, of Emlenton is suspected of drunken driving after his car struck a tree along Route 208 in Irwin Township.
