10:20 a.m. Monday — A hit-and-run vehicle struck a car owned by Meng Lee of Butler while it was parked along the 400 block of East Jefferson Street, damaging the driver's side doors and mirror between 7:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.8:40 a.m. Monday — A tractor trailer stuck three traffic signs at the intersection of Upper Shore and West Wayne streets, dragging one sign to its destination at Tube Mac and causing about $125 in damages. The truck's driver, Sukhdeep S. Bhuller, was not charged in the incident.9:13 a.m. Sunday — Katie L. Ross, 30, of Butler was charged with retail theft after she allegedly tried to take items from Friedman's supermarket without paying.2:24 a.m. Sunday — David Courson, 28, of Butler was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia after police investigating a possible robbery at 315 W. Jefferson St. allegedly discovered a hypodermic needle in his pocket.

3:52 a.m. Sunday — Dennis D. Frketich Jr. was cited for several traffic violations after the car he was allegedly driving struck a utility pole along Route 8.Saturday — Joseph DeFelice, 20, of Lyndora was charged with racing on highways, reckless driving and driving at unsafe speed following a collision at the intersection of North Main Street and Belmont Road. According to witnesses cited in a police report, DeFelice appeared to be racing another vehicle when the car he was driving collided with a vehicle driven by Christopher Gruntz, 31, of Butler, whose vehicle was pushed into a vehicle driven by Kathy Sawyer, 54, of Butler.Friday — Ashley E. Morabito, 23, of Butler Township was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia after being arrested on a warrant for a separate incident.2:08 p.m. Thursday — David S. Haines, 51, of Butler was charged with DUI, careless driving, driving too fast for conditions, driving on roads laned for traffic and restrictions on alcoholic beverages after the pickup truck he was driving struck an embankment and a utility pole on Old Plank Road near Dutchtown Road.June 13 — Charles J. Coy, 21, of East Butler was charged with indecent assault and harassment following an investigation of a complaint by a female juvenile of being touched inappropriately while at Wal-Mart.

Friday — Two plants belonging to Mary Grossman of Grove City were stolen from the front porch of the residence at 230 State St.

10:54 p.m. Saturday — A hit-and-run vehicle struck a car driven by Bennett J. Porter, 21, of Butler at the intersection of Route 68 and Route 38 in Summit Township. The hit-and-run vehicle was described as a blue or purple Chevrolet Cavalier or Cobalt. Anyone with information can call police at 724-284-8100.Thursday — Someone broke into a residence along Evans City Road in Connoquenessing Township, stealing jewelry and change belonging to Grace Rensel of Renfrew between June 22 and Thursday.5:45 a.m. June 26 — Someone stole a yellow plastic couch and two brown plastic chairs that were sitting by the Dumpsters at Slippery Rock High School in Slippery Rock Township between 5 p.m. June 25 and 5:45 a.m. June 26.10 a.m. June 24 — Someone stole a welding cable belonging to Thomas McGregor of Butler from the garage of a residence at 126 Country Lane Road in Franklin Township.

June 21 — Someone stole tools belonging to Odis Hamilton Jr. of Grove City from a shed at 269 Amsterdam Road in Liberty Township. Anyone with information can call police at 724-662-6162.

3 p.m. Sunday — A car driven by Cody J. Waagner, 22, of Kennerdell and a horse-and-buggy driven by Jacob D. Coblendz, 18, of Kennerdell collided on Donaldson Road in Clinton Township, Venango County. Coblendz and his passenger, Aaron R. Byler, 17, of Harrisville, each suffered minor injuries. Waagner was cited for careless driving.
