Handcrafted nativity

The Carnegie Museum of Art’s Neapolitan presepio, one of the finest Nativity scenes of its kind, features lifelike figures from 18th-century Italian village life that were handcrafted between 1700 and 1830. The exhibit runs through Jan. 12. Displayed alongside the village scene are five Colorado spruce trees trimmed with “artfully Inspired” decorations, based on artwork from the museum’s collection. The museum is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily except closed Tuesdays as well as Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. Visit cmoa.org or call 412-622-3131.
