NASA astronaut visiting Pittsburgh through Moon2Mars Foundation

Veteran NASA astronaut Mike Fincke will be a featured speaker at the 2026 Moon2Mars Foundation Summer Speaker Series July 18 and 19 at Point Park University in Pittsburgh.

A Pittsburgh native, Fincke has logged more than a year in space across multiple missions. He played a key role in advancing human spaceflight and international collaboration aboard the International Space Station.

Attendees will have multiple opportunities to hear from Fincke, including a presentation about his journey from Pittsburgh to space, and in a panel discussion on international cooperation in space.

In addition, the public is invited to attend a meet-and-greet and autograph session at 2:30 p.m. July 18 at Point Park University. No tickets are required for this special event. However, space is limited and attendance will be accommodated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Attendees may purchase tickets for individual speaker sessions and get event details, speaker announcements and ticket information at www.moon2marsfoundation.org.
