Butler PoliceMonday — Police filed three drug charges against Cynthia Ann McCallister, 35, of Butler in connection with her arrest last month on a bench warrant.A patrol officer about 8 p.m. Sept. 2 got a call of McCallister’s whereabouts and found her a short time later in the passenger seat of a car parked on the 300 block of East Jefferson Street.The suspect was arrested for the warrant. Police found several stamp bags of suspected heroin next to the seat in the car where she was seated, according to court documents.In McCallister’s purse, police said they found suspected marijuana and another bag of what appeared to be heroin. She is charged with possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia and possession of a small amount of marijuana.Monday — Jaimi N. Titus, 23, of Center Township was charged with drunken driving stemming from a crash with a parked vehicle about 2:40 a.m. Sept. 4 on the 300 block of South Washington Street. Police said Titus’ car struck the back of the other car, pushing it onto the sidewalk and into a parking meter pole.The defendant walked away after the wreck, according to court documents. Police found her two blocks away, at South Main and West Wayne streets. She reeked of alcohol and appeared impaired.“Titus admitted that she was driving but was not sure how the accident occurred,” a police affidavit said. She acknowledged having two beers and several shots of liquor.She eventually was arrested and taken for a blood test after failing field sobriety tests. Lab reports later showed her blood-alcohol level was 0.270 percent, more than three times the state’s 0.08 percent legal limit. Titus is charged with driving under the influence and hit-and-run.,b>State Police, Butler3:57 p.m. Tuesday — Two students, both girls, landed in trouble with the law for fighting inside Moniteau Junior/Senior High School on Route 308 in Cherry Township. The suspects, 13 and 16 years old, both face charges of simple assault and harassment.1:45 a.m. Tuesday — A 21-year-old Butler man, who police did not identify, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after a one-vehicle crash on Saxonburg Road just south of Ardenlee Lane in Summit Township.Monday — Ian S. McCue, 27, of Center Township was charged with drunken driving stemming from a traffic stop Aug. 28 in Summit Township. Police said they stopped him about 2:20 a.m. for running a stop sign at Bonniebrook and Herman roads.McCue, who appeared to have been drinking, acknowledged having consumed ”two beers,” court documents said. A breath tested showed his blood-alcohol was 0.123 percent. A level of 0.08 percent is considered intoxicated under state law.In addition to DUI, he is charged with a stop sign violation and careless driving.

State Police, ClarionWednesday — Police reported they are investigating the theft of money from a car repair business in Madison Township. A police report did not indicate how much money was stolen Aug. 24 from a business account at B&D Repair Services.

State Police, Kittanning1:32 p.m. Monday — A 34-year-old Freeport man, who police did not identify, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of a controlled substance on Route 28 south in North Buffalo Township. Police said charges are pending results.

State Police, MercerTuesday — Celeste D. Yeager, 25, of Grove City was charged with drunken driving in connection with a one-vehicle wreck Aug. 27 in Pine Township, Mercer County. Police said she lost control of her car shortly after 2:30 a.m. and struck a tree along George Junior Road.Yeager is charged with driving under the influence and disregarding traffic lanes.
