Community Life is accepting sign-ups for its annual water baptism at 6 p.m. June 16 at Pleasant Valley Beach, Moraine State Park. Water baptism is a public declaration of faith and commitment to Jesus Christ. There is a potluck picnic after the baptism at the Crestline picnic area of the park. COVENANT PRESBYTERIAN

Covenant Presbyterian Church, 230 E. Jefferson St. has a 10 a.m. Penetecost Sunday worship service. The service includes the sacrament of the Lord’s Supper.

The per-capita offering of members on the active roll will be received Sunday. There is a potluck lunch following worship in the assembly room.

The 10 a.m. starting time for the Sunday service continues through the summer.

FIRST BAPTIST

First Baptist Church, 221 W. New Castle St., has senior graduation at 7 p.m. Friday.

The Sunday schedule includes an 8:30 a.m. prayer service and a 9:15 a.m. breakfast followed by Sunday school and a worship service. Kurt and Bethany Gomez, missionaries to Mexico, will give a presentation.

First English Lutheran Church, 241 N. Main St., starts its summer schedule with one 9:30 a.m. worship service Sunday.

The new Reformation 500 banner will be dedicated at the festival worship service for Pentecost and congregation members will wear red. There is a strawberry dessert celebration after the service. It is also Good Samaritan Sunday with money icollected to assist needy people.

GRACE @ CALVARY LUTHERAN

Ladies night out for Grace @ Calvary Lutheran Church, 123 E. Diamond St., is at 5:30 p.m. today at Rock Ann Haven, 141 Greenwood Drive.

NORTH MAIN STREET CHURCH OF GOD

North Main Street Church of God, 1201 N. Main St. Ext., has Shout Out night from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at 3:12 at 312 N. Main St. The night of music, worship, testimony and fellowship will include music from Washboard Tony and Friends.

Sunday is graduation Sunday when the church honors graduates from high school, college and technical school at the worship service. There is a connection dinner after the service.

OLD UNION PRESBYTERIAN

Old Union Presbyterian Church, 200 Union Church Road, Mars, honors graduates at the 10 a.m. Sunday worship service. The church is using its summer worship schedule and there is no Sunday school.

The June mission offering supports Refreshing Springs Ministry. It shepherds economically, physically and socially challenged neighborhoods in Ambridge and Aliquippa.
