Water baptism is a public declaration of faith and commitment to Jesus Christ. There is a potluck picnic after the baptism at the Crestline picnic area of the park. Covenant Presbyterian Church, 230 E. Jefferson St. has a 10 a.m. Penetecost Sunday worship service. The service includes the sacrament of the Lord’s Supper.

The new Reformation 500 banner will be dedicated at the festival worship service for Pentecost and congregation members will wear red. There is a strawberry dessert celebration after the service. It is also Good Samaritan Sunday with money icollected to assist needy people.
