Mars girls net win over Rams
Tai Johnson scored 21 points as the Mars girls basketball team earned a Section 1-AAA road victory, 46-41 over Highlands Thursday night.
Nicole McCloud added 12 points and Lauren Wasylson 11 for the Planets (5-2, 2-0).

John Castello scored 30 pints as Mars defeated a team from British Columbia, 90-53, in Las Vegas Thursday night.
Bailey Trzeciak and Steve Castello each scored 15 points for the Planets while Nate Sablowski added 10.
Hockey
Christopher Lipnicky and Tyler Murphy both scored in the first period to give Seneca Valley an early edge, but Cathedral Prep scored the next five goals and the Ramblers posted a 5-4 win.
Connor Williams and Alex Crilley scored SV's final two goals, with Crilley adding two assists.
The loss dropped the Raiders to 6-6.
