5:06 p.m. Sunday — A motorcycle driven by Deborah Thompson, 58, and a car driven by Matthew Zabicki, 21, both of Butler, collided at the intersection of West Pearl and Dr. Pepper streets. Zabicki was taken by ambulance to Butler Memorial Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.7:30 a.m. Sunday — Candace Bollinger of Butler reported the back window of her SUV was smashed while the vehicle was parked outside her residence at 329 N. Sixth Ave. overnight.11:30 p.m. Saturday — Ronald A. Carben, 36, of Butler was charged with theft from a motor vehicle and receiving stolen property after allegedly stealing four CDs worth a total of $50 from a vehicle owned by Jason Stobert while it was parked at 445 N. Bluff St. After hearing the vehicle's alarm sound, Stobert, 41, grabbed a baseball bat and chased Carben down the street. While held at bay, Stobert called police. According to police, Carben had the CDs when arrested.Saturday — Someone stole 12 CDs worth $10 each and $10 in loose change from an unlocked car owned by Christopher Baldacci of Butler while it was parked outside the Eau Claire Street Bar between 9:30 p.m. and midnight.12:49 p.m. Saturday — Kenneth Dwayne Felton, 49, of Butler was charged with providing false identification to law enforcement when police responded to a domestic call at 110 N. Seventh Ave.

8:48 p.m. Friday — Brian Curtis Leonard, 26, of Baden, Beaver County, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence following a traffic stop on Route 108 in Worth Township.Thursday — Kevin Charles Swinton, 25, of Pittsburgh was charged with making terroristic threats, harassment and violating a protection from abuse order after allegedly sending voice and cell phone text messages stating he was going to kill the Clearfield Township victim, whose name was not released.Aug. 9 — A purse owned by Mary Bancroft of Grove City was stolen from a coat hook at 141 S. Main St. in Slippery Rock between 8:20 and 8:30 p.m. The total value of the purse and its contents was $235. Anyone with information about the theft should call police at 724-284-8100.

Saturday — Police conducted a DUI checkpoint, resulting in two DUI arrests, one underage drinking arrest, one public drunkenness arrest and 10 traffic citations.State Police New Castle4:40 a.m. Saturday — A car driven by Brandon Peters-Cook, 24, of McDonald, Washington County, hit a guard rail along Route 108 in Plain Grove Township, crossed the highway and hit a utility pole before overturning. The driver sustained moderate injuries. His passenger, Anthony Cook, 25, also of McDonald, sustained minor injuries.

6:42 a.m. July 2 — Steven Simonelli, 21, and Rachelle Silli, 21, both of Slippery Rock, were arrested after police found five suspected marijuana plants and other contraband in their apartment on Center Street.Simonelli is charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, and possession of a small amount of marijuanaSilli is charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
