12:08 a.m. Sunday — Heather R. Thornton, 21, of Butler was arrested for driving under the influence on North Main Street. Police said Thornton also was cited for not stopping at a red light. Additionally, two passengers, Jonathan T. Ford, 20, and Kathryn L. Lane, 18, both of Butler, were cited for underage drinking, according to a police report.Sunday — A Honda CR125 dirt bike valued at $800 was taken between 8:15 and 8:45 p.m. from a home in the 400 block of East Jefferson Street. The bike is red and white with a black seat.Sunday — A minibike worth $200 was reported stolen from North Sixth Avenue. The bike, taken between 7:30 p.m. Saturday and 7 a.m. Sunday, is gray, with "PMC" on the side of the gas tank. The bike is equipped with high handle bars and a black plastic case around the front motor.4:52 p.m. Saturday — A car driven by Lacy Hepler, 26, and a sport utility vehicle driven by Laura Adams, 55, both of Butler Township, collided at East Brady and South Cliff streets.State Police, Butler3:03 a.m. today — Deryk L. Cook, 20, of Eau Claire was arrested for allegedly assaulting Brittany S. Overly, 19, of Eau Claire during a domestic dispute at an Oneida Valley Road home in Venango Township. Police said Cook was arraigned on a charge of simple assault and placed in the Butler County Prison on $3,000 bail.3:45 a.m. Sunday — Ashley Lynn Jordan, 23, of Johnstown, Cambria County, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Interstate 79 in Muddy Creek Township.9:45 p.m. Friday — Valerie R. Hartle-Gourley, 30, of Wampum, Lawrence County, was arrested for suspicion of DUI on I-79 in Worth Township.8:25 p.m. Friday — A car driven by Paul M. Kotek, 17, of Butler struck a deer at Route 308 and Bellshire Drive in Center Township.
Friday — About $3,500 in jewelry and a camera were stolen in a burglary at a Patterson School Road home in Worth Township, Mercer County. The break-in happened between 7:45 a.m. and 4 p.m.Wednesday — Someone between March 10 and Wednesday fired a gunshot that struck and shattered a side window at a home on Amsterdam Road in Liberty Township.
