11:58 p.m. Thursday — Francis B. Coy, 48, is accused of allegedly assaulting his girlfriend's 16-year-old son during a domestic dispute at their Hansen Avenue home. Coy is charged with simple assault and harassment.3:44 p.m. Thursday — A 15-year-old Butler boy was hurt when his bicycle collided with a car at West Cunningham and West Jefferson streets. Police said Mathew Keller rode his bike in front of the car driven by Allair Devanney, 26, of Adams Township.The bike hit the left front of the car, sending the teen into the windshield and onto the road. Keller was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.2:05 p.m. Thursday — A wet road was blamed for a four-car, chain-reaction crash on West New Castle Street. No one was hurt.Police said the accident occurred when a car driven by Marcia McCaw, 51, of Center Township hit the rear of a car driven by David Hays, 53, of Butler.The collision sent Hays' car into the rear of a car driven by Donald Sankey Jr., 58, of Butler, which in turn forced Sankey's vehicle into the rear of a car driven by John Zahradnik, 59, of Butler.11:01 a.m. Thursday — John Kaiser, 34, of Valencia suffered only minor injuries when he was hit by a car pulling out of a parking lot on West Cunningham Street. Police said Kaiser was knocked to the ground after walking in front of the car driven by Robert G. White, 54, of Butler.AButler Ambulance Service crew treated Kaiser at the scene for unknown leg injuries; he declined further treatment at the hospital.

Wednesday — Police arrested Steven Allen Johnson, 21, of Mercer on charges he forged a woman's signature on a check he used Jan. 26 to buy $75.61 in items at the Giant Eagle in Buffalo Plaza on Route 356. Johnson is charged with forgery and theft by deception.

5:38 p.m. Wednesday — Cars driven by Katelyn Olson, 16, of Chicora and Clint Rhodes, 34, of Kittanning collided on Hansen Avenue at Picklegate Crossing.
