7:15 p.m. Tuesday — Bobbi Joe Nelson, 34, of Butler was charged with retail theft after she allegedly tried to leave Kmart on Hansen Avenue without paying for several items valued at $131l.3:37 a.m. Tuesday — Jennifer A. Bole, 28, of Butler was charged with DUI, DUI highest rate of alcohol (second offense) and accidents involving damage to unattended property after the car she was driving crashed into a tree at the corner of CDC Drive and South Sixth Avenue. Bole was not injured.5:15 p.m. Monday — A pickup truck driven by John E. Goodman, 33, of Butler crashed into a tree at the intersection of East Patterson and Morton avenues.

3:50 p.m. Friday — Kathy Burkett, 46, and Christopher A. DeFelice, 19, both of Butler each were charged with retail theft, conspiracy to commit retail theft and traffic violations following an investigation into an alleged theft at Kohl's at Butler Crossing. Burkett also was charged with corruption of a minor for allegedly involving a 14-year-old girl in the conspiracy.

8:53 p.m. Monday — An SUV driven by Laura B. Faessel, 30, of Russellton crashed into a downed utility pole along Saxonburg Boulevard in Clinton Township. Faessel was not injured and a 3-year-old passenger in her vehicle suffered minor injuries. Faessel was cited for driving at an unsafe speed.10:51 a.m. Dec. 22 — A vehicle driven by Brooke L. Potts, 18, of MacClenney, Fla. and a pickup truck driven by David L. Young, 36, of Cabot collided at the intersection of Route 356 and Great Belt Road in Jefferson Township. Brooke Potts and passenger Jeannine M. Potts, 47, of Sarver suffered unknown injuries. Brooke Potts was cited for failure to obey stop and yield signs and a learner's permit violation; Jeannine Potts was cited for permitting an unauthorized person to drive and required registration and title certificate.
