3:29 p.m. Sunday — A car driven by Claire Dorsch, 72, of Harmony struck the rear of an SUV driven by Susan McGee, 50, of Cabot that was stopped on Route 356.12:07 p.m. Sunday — A 17-year-old township male was charged with terroristic threats, simple assault and harassment after police responded to a disturbance call at a residence on Bessemer Avenue. The teen allegedly picked up a hammer and threatened to hit his 22-year-old brother during an argument. Police did not release the names of the brothers.7:15 a.m. Sunday — A pickup driven by Scott Fischer, 36, of West Sunbury hit an embankment off Route 8.2:48 p.m. Friday — Diane Pietrala, 23, of Allison Park was cited for retail theft after allegedly stealing $100 worth of DVD movies from Sam's Club on July 15.

12:30 a.m. Thursday — Terra Turner, 32, of Grove City was charged with DUI after police allegedly saw her vehicle driving along South Broad Street with a flat tire. Turner, who is on probation, was taken to Mercer County Jail.

9:54 p.m. Saturday — A car driven by Linda Cagno, 30, of Ferrell struck the rear of a pickup driven by Daniel McGivigan, 48, of New Castle on the Interstate 79 off-ramp in Muddy Creek Township.7:30 p.m. Saturday — State police are searching for Crystal M. Merten, 16, of Forward Township. She allegedly left her home on Marburger Road with all her belongings following an argument with her parents, and was reported as a runaway Monday after she did not attend school. Merten is 5 feet 5 inches tall with long blonde hair and blue eyes and weighs about 110 pounds. Anyone with information should call police at 724-284-8100.5:53 p.m. Saturday — A car driven by Erin Stewart, 31, of McKees Rocks went off a wet Interstate 79 in Muddy Creek Township and hit an embankment.1:58 p.m. Saturday — A vehicle driven by Terence D. Conner II, 42, of Grove City crashed into an embankment and rolled over along Interstate 79 in Lancaster Township. Conner suffered minor injuries and was cited for driving on road laned for traffic.4 p.m. Friday — Someone entered the home at 327 Freeport Road, stealing jewelry and coins valued at about $1,850 that belonged to Rochelle J. Rihel of Butler between 8 a.m. Sept. 5 and 4 p.m. Friday. Anyone with information should call police at 724-284-8100.

7:45 p.m. Monday — Someone shot a tiger-colored cat belonging to Lisa R. Dora of Grove City with a gun. Anyone with information should call police at 724-662-6162.State Police, New Castle7 a.m. Saturday — Someone stole a mannequin belonging to Dale Cunningham of New Castle from a produce stand along Route 65 in Slippery Rock Township between 8 p.m. Friday and 7 a.m. Saturday.

4:30 p.m. Monday — Jaunell P. McNeal, 20, of Pittsburgh and Matthew A. Buffington, 24, of Butler each were charged with possession with intent to deliver, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police report the men had about 7 grams of suspected crack cocaine, two bundles of heroin and a smoking pipe in a vehicle parked behind an empty building on Ferndale Road in Manor Township. The men were jailed in Armstrong County Prison on $25,000 bail each.

3:31 a.m. Sunday — An unnamed 19-year-old driver from Rimersburg is suspected of driving under the influence after the driver was stopped for a traffic violation on High Point Road, Beaver Township.3:30 a.m. Sunday — A vehicle driven by Randell S. Harmon Jr., 18, of Rimersburg was hit from behind by a silver Dodge Neon that left the scene. Neither Harmon nor his passenger, Kasie E. Kizza, 23, of Rimersburg, were injured, but police are looking for information.1 p.m. Thursday — Several items including tools, a shotgun and two TVs were reported missing after someone broke into a garage and residences on Chestnut Ridge Road in Richland Township. Victims include Megapull Inc., Brian Lowry of Richland Township, Clark Shotwell Jr. of Bonita, Fla., and James Sheffield of Virginia Beach, Va. The stolen property is valued at $2,860.3:05 a.m. Wednesday — A 49-year-old man is accused of pushing two females, ages 42 and 21, while he was intoxicated on Main Street in Rimersburg.Sept. 20 — Richard and Susan Zettlemoyer of Sligo sent $2,900 to buy a vehicle they found online. The couple did not get the car, and police said the information online was fictitious.
