9:13 p.m. Saturday — John Baranchak, 70, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on East Jefferson Street in Butler.2:16 a.m. Saturday — James E. Sundberg, 55, of Creighton, Allegheny County, was arrested for DUI at Bonniebrook Road and Pine Drive in Summit Township.Saturday — Police reported they are investigating an attempted theft at the Oakview Golf Club on Ralston Road lin Slippery Rock Township. Club representatives told police that someone in the past two weeks has been tampering with their carts and gas tank storage area.3:56 p.m. Friday — A car driven by Alan M. Palmer, 22, of Parker crashed into a parked vehicle on Route 268 near Bluff Road in Parker after Palmer allegedly fell asleep at the wheel.Palmer suffered a moderate injury and was taken by ambulance to UPMC Northwest in Seneca. He was cited for a lane violation, and the car's owner was cited for allowing another driver to use her vehicle while it was uninsured.Friday — A $20 coffee maker and a paper towel holder were stolen from an open pavilion at a home on Rocks Road in Parker Township. The theft happened between Tuesday and Friday.12:16 a.m. Thursday — Joshua Kobert, 28, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of DUI after he was found asleep in a running car stopped in the middle of Great Belt Road in Jefferson Township.7:53 a.m. Wednesday — A motorcycle driven by Robert P. Kampian, 46, of Slippery Rock hit a calf on West Park Road in Worth Township. Kampian, who was wearing a helmet, suffered a minor injury.9:25 p.m. July 12 — Barry A. Adkins, 30, of Vandergrift, Westmoreland County, was arrested for suspicion of DUI on Route 422 near Pleasant Valley Road in Muddy Creek Township.1:24 a.m. July 7 — Troy W. Thrower, 37, of Saxonburg was arrested for suspicion of DUI on Route 356 and Winfield Road in Winfield Township.
Saturday — Aaron Colyer, 28, of New Castle was arrested for allegedly assaulting a woman during a domestic dispute at a home on Emlenton Street in Clintonville, Venango County. Colyer is charged with simple assault and harassment.
1 a.m. Sunday — Adam J. Dosch, 22, and Stacy Ann Dosch, 25, both of Worthington, are accused of assaulting a couple at their Briar Hill Road home in East Franklin Township.Adam Dosch allegedly punched 27-year-old Todd Dosch in the face He also broke the other man's eyeglasses in the altercation.Stacy Dosch allegedly shoved 28-year-old Jessica Dosch against the house and hit her in the face several times.A police news release did not identify the relationship between the people.Adam Dosch and Stacy Dosch face charges of simple assault, harassment, public drunkenness and disorderly. Adam Dosch also faces a charge of criminal mischief.7:50 p.m. Saturday — A car driven by Brian Smith, no age given, of Homer City struck a deer on Route 28, about 1 mile south of Exit 18 in South Buffalo Township.2 p.m. Friday — A sport utility vehicle driven by Michael Bronowicz, 31, of Allison Park, Allegheny County, struck a guardrail on Route 28, about 2 miles south of Exit 18 in North Buffalo Township.10 a.m. Thursday — Several undisclosed items were stolen in a burglary at a Slate Lick Road home in North Buffalo Township.8 a.m. Thursday — At least two bicycles were stolen from Mahoning Road on the bridge over Mahoning Creek in Madison Township. The unknown thief was in a black truck that stopped on the bridge and took the bikes, which are owned by a Templeton man.Anyone with information about the theft is asked to call police at 724-543-2011.Thursday — An unknown burglar stole prescription medication from a home on McCauley Falls Road in Boggs Township. The break-in happened between 4 and 7:30 p.m.Thursday — About 500 baseball cards, an unspecified number of silver dollars and silver quarters, and a container holding $6 in change were stolen in a burglary at a home on Glade Run Road in North Buffalo Township.
10:50 a.m. Sunday — A patrolling trooper found a stolen car on Interstate 79 in Springfield Township. The car, owned by a Michigan woman, had been abandoned.Saturday — Unknown black males reportedly tried to take money from the cash register at the Claires Store in Prime Outlets in Springfield Township.7:45 p.m. Friday — Three teenagers were hurt when a car driven by Bridget D. Hook, 16, of Grove City struck a utility pole on East Gilmore Road in Wolf Creek Township. The car slid about 120 feet after hitting a tree and rolled onto its roof.Hook and two passengers, Trevion J. Fitzpatrick, 15, of Harrisville; and Logan A. Bell, 15, of Slippery Rock, suffered minor injuries.Hook was cited for driving at an unsafe speed.
