4:16 a.m. Wednesday — Police caught two suspected thieves accused of cutting copper pipe and tubing behind the former Shop 'n Save store at Pullman Square.Adam Dunkle, 27, of Butler Township and Jason Yearick, 29, of Center Township were arrested and charged with theft, criminal mischief, receiving stolen property, possessing instruments of crime and conspiracy.District Judge Lewis Stoughton arraigned both defendants and sent them to Butler County Prison on $10,000 bail each.Apolice report also noted city officers found evidence that Dunkle and Yearick had earlier stolen copper wire from the Herman area.7:22 p.m. Sunday — David W. Bauerle, 38, of Butler was arrested for driving under the influence on West New Castle Street. His blood-alcohol level was 0.311 percent, or nearly four times the legal limit under state law.

10:10 a.m. Thursday — An unidentified vehicle struck the side of a pickup truck parked in front of Aldi's at Butler Commons, and did not stop. Thomas Mercurio of Butler owns the pickup.Thursday — Amanda Hoover, 21, of Butler and Amanda Dunlap, 21, of Chicora are accused of shoplifting clothing from the Wal-Mart store at Butler Commons. Both women were cited for retail theft.

Today — A thief between midnight and 1:15 a.m. broke a car's window and stole a pink gym bag filled with clothing from the vehicle at the Toaster's parking lot in Chicora. Mary Faller of Chicora owns the stolen property.Thursday — Police reported a 15-year-old Prospect girl as missing and possibly a runaway after she failed to return home. Caitlyn Crusan was last seen about 10:15 a.m. at her Main Street home.She is described as 5 feet, 1 inch tall, 105 pounds with blonde hair and blue eyes. When last seen, the teenager was wearing blue jeans and a camouflage sweatshirt.Anyone with information about the girl's whereabouts is asked to call police at 724-284-8100.2 p.m. Wednesday — A13-year-old boy accidentally shot himself in the foot with a BBgun while walking back to his Fenelton area home in Clearfield Township. Police did not identify the boy. It also was not known if the boy required hospital treatment.Tuesday — An Allegheny County man reported someone stole a Cobra nickel-plated .380-caliber handgun from his trailer at the Moraine Campland on Staff Road in Brady Township. Christopher Gobrecht of Allison Park said his gun was taken Monday or Tuesday.2:42 p.m. Monday — An unidentified tractor-trailer sideswiped a car on Route 488 near Route 19 in Portersville, and did not stop. Ashley A. Thompson, 21, of Slippery Rock was driving the car.
