11:45 a.m. Friday — A motorcycle operated by Daniel D'Angelo, 48, of New Kensington and a car driven by Jennifer Sherman, 36, of Butler collided at the intersection of West Cunningham and West Birch streets. D'Angelo suffered a minor injury.10:45 p.m. Sept. 19 — Jacob A. Martinez, 31, of Butler was charged with simple assault after he allegedly hit his girlfriend several times during an argument at 222 Kaufman Dr.6:48 a.m. Sept. 19 — Leroy J. Hirsch Jr., 49, of Huntsville, Texas, was charged with terroristic threats and harassment after he allegedly threatened his wife and a man in her home at 622 W. Penn St. using text messages.12:07 a.m. Sept. 18 — Daniel B. Martin, 32, of Butler was charged with simple assault after he allegedly hit a woman during an argument at the intersection of East Penn and Franklin streets.11:53 Sept. 5 — Desmond R. Best, 29, of Butler was charged with simple assault and criminal mischief after he allegedly hit his girlfriend during an argument at her apartment at 340 Virginia Ave., then urinated on the city police cell block floor following his arrest.2:43 p.m. Sept. 1 — Robert J. Draper, 34, of Butler was charged with simple assault and resisting arrest after he allegedly struck his girlfriend several times during an argument at 140 Mercer St., then fought with officers who arrested him on West Cunningham Street.5:31 p.m. Aug. 26 — John Albert Tomko, 32, no address given; Tyler J. Karch, 22, and Michael E. Karch, 22, both of Butler, each were charged with theft by unlawful taking after they allegedly removed an aluminum gutter, a screen door, and copper pipes from an apartment formerly rented by Tomko at 421 S. Monroe St.

Sept. 27 — Amber Doller-Smith, 23, of Butler was cited for careless driving after the vehicle she was driving allegedly rear-ended a vehicle, which then struck another vehicle, along Hansen Avenue. No injuries were reported. The other drivers were not identified.
