Carol A. Bintrim
Carol A. (Stenzel) Bintrim, 64, of Harmony died Saturday at the Jameson Care Center, New Castle.
Born Aug. 31, 1944, in Portland, Maine, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Virginia Stenzel.
Mrs. Bintrim moved to Zelienople with her family from Portland, after her high school graduation. Here she met her husband, Donald Bintrim. They made their home in Harmony, where they raised their two children.
Carol was a fiercely loving mother. She devoted her time to providing for and raising her children until they married and began families of their own.
She is survived by her daughter, Dawn M. Mawhinney and her husband, Kevin, of Rohnert Park, Calif.; her son, Eric M. Bintrim and his wife, Karen, of New Castle; two grandsons, Kevin Patrick Mawhinney and Ethan Michael Bintrim; a brother, John Stenzel and his wife, Debbie, of Zelienople; and two sisters, Jean Bennett of Ellwood City and Linda Leonard of New Hampshire.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald D. Bintrim, who died July 21, 2005.
<B>BINTRIM</B> — A memorial service for Carol A. (Stenzel) Bintrim, who died Saturday, Oct. 11, 2008, will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the <B>Boylan Funeral Home</B>, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople, with the Rev. Peggy Suhr-Barkley, pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church, Ellwood City, officiating.
