Friday — Police charged Danielle Leight, 43, of Butler in connection with a hit-and-run accident that occurred at 8:20 p.m. Dec. 5 on Freeport Road at Sheetz. After allegedly being identified through surveillance video footage, Leight was charged with accidents involving personal injury, accidents involving damage to an attended vehicle, tampering with physical evidence, false reports to law enforcement and several traffic violations.Thursday — A vehicle allegedly driven by Olivia Kappler, 17, of Butler rear-ended a vehicle driven by Edward Codi, 67, of Butler on Old Plank Road near Crisswell Road.10:19 p.m. Wednesday — Joseph R. Quaill, 33, of Butler was charged with DUI after the car he was driving crashed into two signs and a concrete light post column at Pre-Own Auto Sales along Route 8.8:15 p.m. Wednesday — A car driven by Karen Miller, 44, of Butler and a car driven by Emily Vranic, 24, of Allison park collided at the intersection of Route 8 and Fairfield Lane.

3:11 a.m. Thursday — Brad Grossman, 18, of Grove City was charged with burglary, criminal trespass, criminal mischief and underage drinking after he allegedly burglarized the Grove City Beverage Store on West Main Street.

Jan. 20 — Two power tools were stolen from a pickup truck parked at a house in the 2000 block of Fairview School Road in Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County. Taken were a Stihl concrete cutoff saw valued at $1,000 and a Dewalt rotary saw valued at $500. The theft happened between 6 p.m. Jan. 19 and 11 a.m. Jan. 20.
