1:13 p.m. Saturday — An unidentified vehicle struck a mailbox on Old Route 422 east in Clearfield Township. The vehicle left the scene. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 724-284-8100.

1:37 a.m. Jan. 5 — Honey J. Walsh, 46, of Petrolia was arrested for drunken driving after police said she pulled out in front of a trooper’s patrol car and swerved off the side of the road three times on Jamisonville Road in Center Township.

Field sobriety tests subsequently showed Walsh was impaired, according to court documents. She was taken to the barracks for a breath test that showed her blood-alcohol level was 0.175 percent. A level of 0.08 percent is considered intoxicated under state law.

Walsh is charged with driving under the influence, disregarding traffic lanes, driving a vehicle without valid inspection and unauthorized use or transfer of vehicle registration.

6:43 p.m. Sunday — Curtis E. Flick, 33, of Fenelton lost control of his sport utility vehicle and traveled into a creek on Glade Run Road. The vehicle ended on its driver’s side.

Police said Flick left the scene before they got there. Police said charges in the crash are pending.

12:08 p.m. Sunday — No one was injured in a one-vehicle wreck in Butler County.

The accident happened when a car driven by Ian D. Thompson, 18, of Pittsburgh struck a guardrail on Route 28 north about one-half mile south of Exit 17 in Buffalo Township. The car had to be towed.

Police cited the teen for driving too fast for conditions and disregarding traffic lane.
