Latshaw

Margie L. Hillwig Latshaw, 81, of Seybertown, Bradys Bend Township, Armstrong County, died Sunday at Clarion Hospital.

Born Oct. 5, 1925, in East Brady, she was the daughter of Max E. and Doris E. Harriger Murphy.

A 1943 graduate of East Brady High School, she worked for the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board from 1955 to 1975 at the East Brady State Store and was the first woman to manage a state store in Pennsylvania.

Mrs. Latshaw was a member St. Eusebius Roman Catholic Church, East Brady.

She enjoyed dancing, sewing and antiquing.

Surviving are her husband, Jack Latshaw of Seybertown, whom she married Aug. 28, 1981; a son, Jon Marc Hillwig of East Brady; a granddaughter, Nicole Fry and her husband, Sean, of West Sunbury; a grandson, Karl Vaughn Hillwig of East Brady, and nieces and nephews.

Her first husband, Raymond J. "Nick" Hillwig, whom she married in June 1943, died Dec. 22, 1978. She also was preceded in death by an infant son, Raymond Harold Hillwig, who died in 1944; two sisters Maxine Vasbinder and La Donna Hosey, and two brothers, Herbert and Zane Murphy.

<B>LATSHAW</B> — Friends of Margie L. Hillwig Latshaw, who died Sunday, April 1, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the <B>Charles B. Buechele Funeral Home</B>, 105 Fourth St., East Brady. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Eusebius Roman Catholic Church, East Brady, with the Rev. William Kuba officiating. Burial will be at St. Eusebius Cemetery, Brady Township, Clarion County.A parish prayer service will be held at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.Memorial donations may be made to the Clarion Forest Visiting Nurse Association, P.O.
