1:58 a.m. Friday — Michael J. Butler, Jr., 32, of Butler was charged with DUI, accidents involving damage to unattended vehicles and reckless driving after the car he was driving allegedly stuck a utility pole and a parked car owned by Ashley Dillard of Butler in the 700 block of Center Avenue. Butler fled but was arrested at his home a short time later.12:33 a.m. Thursday — Joseph Bassetti, 40, of Cabot was charged with DUI following a traffic stop on Morton Avenue.
2:05 a.m. Saturday — David Highland, 24, of Petrolia was charged with DUI following a traffic stop on Route 268 in Petrolia.10 a.m. Friday — Someone entered nine storage units at Clearfield Storage on Route 422 in Clearfield Township, stealing multiple items including a black, 2006 Honda TRX450 ATV; ATV wheels and tires; snowmobile parts; and a maple dining table and chairs between 2 p.m. Wednesday and 10 a.m. Friday. Anyone with information should call police at 724-284-8100.9 p.m. Wednesday — Someone stole a purse with $175 in cash, some change, and a black coat with a fur collar, belonging to Melinda Claypool of Butler from her car while it was parked in the Boscov's customer pick-up area at Clearview Mall in Center Township between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. Wednesday. Anyone with information should call police at 724-284-8100.7 p.m. Wednesday — Someone broke into a home on Branchton Road in Washington Township and stole a ProScan 32-inch LCD TV, model 32LB30Q, valued at $340 belonging to Lisa A. Cushenberry. Anyone with information should call police at 724-284-8100.3 p.m. Tuesday — Someone stole a Mongoose bicycle belonging to Shirley Stutz of Summit Township from a storage shed on Jodi Lane between 3 p.m. Nov. 8 and 3 p.m. Tuesday. 2:30 p.m. Wednesday — Someone stole an unknown amount of cash from a purse belonging to Tabitha Mortimer of Chicora at the Subway restaurant on Route 422 in Worthington, Armstrong County, between 2 and 2:30 p.m. Wednesday.
