Butler Twp Police3:15 a.m. Monday — Michael Brinker, 34, of Butler was arrested for driving under the influence on Alameda Road. Police said they also cited Brinker for furnishing alcohol to a minor and an open container violation. Gabriel Somple, 20, of Butler, a passenger, was cited for an open container violation.4:06 p.m. Saturday — Vehicles driven by Tyler Trimbur, 20, and Emily Herschl, 21, both of Butler, collided at New Castle and Duffy roads. Police said Trimbur was cited for a red light violation.2:17 a.m. Saturday — Matthew J. Koch, 19, of Butler was arrested for suspected drunken driving after he was found passed out behind the wheel of a car in at a convenience store on Freeport Road. Police charged Koch with DUI and minors prohibited from driving with any alcohol in their system.12:35 a.m. Saturday — Gerald Raisley Jr., 40, was arrested following a disturbance outside his Plateau Street home in Renfrew. Raisley was arraigned on charges of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest, and he was released on unsecured bail.Friday — Vehicles driven by Cheryl Jakupovic 42, of Karns City and Monica Smith, 22, of Knox, Clarion County, collided on Route 8 North at Route 422. Police said Jakupovic was cited for driving an unregistered vehicle.Thursday — Larry Wolfe, 43, of Butler is accused of hit-and-run after he backed a car into a motorcycle parked on Bessemer Avenue in Lyndora. Police said Wolfe drove away. Officers later found him at his home. In addition to hit-and-run, police cited him for driving with a suspended license-DUI related.

Grove City Police7:50 a.m. Monday — Police cited Phuoc Dinh Le, 38, for failing to keep his dog confined to his property in the 700 block of Rebecca Avenue after it was observed running loose in the neighborhood.Monday — Police reported three young men face criminal charges for allegedly shooting paint balls at the Grove City fire and police stations on March 26.The suspects, police said, are Walter Blank, 18, and Robert Dietz, 20, both of Grove City; and Isaac Ryhal, 18, of Volant. The trio are facing two counts of institutional vandalism.8:52 p.m. Friday — Dorothy Martin, 49, was arrested after a domestic dispute at her home on West Washington Boulevard. Martin is charged with simple assault and harassment.July 10 — A white colored Xbox 360 and six video games were stolen from a home in the 100 block of Gilmore Avenue. The property was stolen between 4 and 7:45 p.m.

State Police, Butler1:22 a.m. Monday — Matthew Ryan Smith, no age given, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence at North Main and Penn streets in Butler.2:43 a.m. Saturday — Jessica Stevens, 33, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence at Route 356 and Saxonburg Road in Butler Township.12:15 a.m. Thursday — Craig Perry, 33, of Butler is accused of assaulting 24-year-old Joseph R. Brandon of Butler at a Sherman Lane home in Connoquenessing Township. Perry is charged with simple assault.

State Police, Clarion10:13 p.m. Saturday — A suspected hit-and-run driver apparently suffered injuries in a crash on Curllsville Road in Toby Township. The suspect, who police did not identify, was driving a 2007 Dodge Durango that hit a telephone pole and several trees.The sport utility vehicle rolled down an embankment about 20 feet off the road and landed on its side, Police said the driver fled the scene, leaving the vehicle behind.

State Police, Kittanning10:30 p.m. Sunday — Amanda M. Schrecengost, 23, of Petrolia was hurt when the car she was driving struck an embankment and a guardrail on Queenstown Road near Whiskey Run Road in Perry Township. Schrecengost, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with minor injuries. Police said she was cited for a lane violation.1 p.m. Sunday — An Allegheny County man was arrested after he was spotted allegedly waving a handgun inside a vehicle on Route 28 south of Route 422 in North Buffalo Township.Police caught up to the vehicle at the Pittsburgh Mills Mall exit. A loaded pistol was found in the car. Guy A. Rabich, 52, of West Mifflin was arraigned on charges of felons not allowed to possess firearms and carrying a gun without a permit. He was placed in the Armstrong County Jail on $2,000 bail.A passenger in the vehicle, a 29-year-old man from Braddock, Allegheny County, who police did not identify, was found with suspected marijuana. Charges of possessing a small amount of marijuana are pending against that same man.12:35 a.m. Sunday — Douglas A. Gaworski, 20, of Sarver and a 17-year-old Kittanning girl were hurt when their car crashed and overturned three times before landing on its wheels on the Route 28 off-ramp to Route 422 in East Franklin Township.Gaworski and the girl, who police did not identify, were taken to ACMH Hospital in Kittanning with minor injuries; both were wearing seat belts. Police said Gaworski was cited for careless driving and a lane violation.

State Police, MercerMonday — A scrap metal thief stole about 200 feet of supply line for a welder from a garage in a burglary at a home in the 600 block of George Junior Road in Pine Township. The break-in and theft happened between 2:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.9:43 p.m. Thursday — Brian W. Collar, 23, of Grove City was arrested on a bench warrant for failing to appear at a hearing in Mercer County Court stemming from a bad check case in 2010.Troopers found Collar in a car parked at the Leesburg Falls parking lot in Springfield Township. He allegedly gave a phony name to police but later admitted his true identity. Police said he faces a charge of false identification to law enforcement authorities.He was placed in the Mercer County Jail for the warrant.
