6:44 p.m. Thursday — A vehicle owned by April R. Anthony of Butler was struck by a hit-and-run driver while it was parked on Mercer Avenue near Wood Street causing minor damage.12:31 p.m. Thursday — Shayne Patrick Texter, 32, of Butler was charged with accidents involving damage to property and driving under the influence after he allegedly hit with a utility pole at the intersection of Monroe and Jefferson streets, and he the left the scene.

Friday — A vehicle driven by Nicole Walker, 19, of Slippery Rock and a vehicle driven by Kelly Ferrari, 40, of Butler collided at the intersection of Whitestown Road and Elizabeth Drive. Ferrari suffered a minor injury.5:12 p.m. Thursday — A vehicle driven by Brian Zang, 35, of Butler and a vehicle driven by Sally Hawks, 56, of Butler collided at the intersection of Route 68 and Acre Avenue. Hawks was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with unknown injuries.

1:20 a.m. Friday — Nicholas D. Pastura, 21, of New Kensington was charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop on South Pike Road. A 19-year-old passenger not named by police was charged with underage drinking.

12:01 a.m. Friday — A vehicle driven by Jennifer Smith, 38, of Butler crashed into a tree along Herman Road in Summit Township. Smith was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with serious injuries and later taken by medical helicopter to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.

7 p.m. Friday — A vehicle driven by Ashley L. Smith, 20, of Wampum crashed into a tree along Route 108 near Acre Road in Scott Township. Smith was wearing a seat belt and suffered a minor injury. Passenger Katie A. Morabito, 22, of Ellwood City was wearing a seat belt and was not injured.6 a.m. Wednesday — Someone stole an aluminum Gorman-Rupp pump weighing about 1,500 pounds, valued at $20,000 and belonging to Carison Mining of New Castle from a site along Millbridge Road in Slippery Rock Township between 10 p.m. Tuesday and 6 a.m. Wednesday. Anyone with information should call police at 724-598-2217.
