4:31 a.m. Sunday — Shannon Kinnear, 23, of Hilliards was arrested for driving under the influence at South Main and Birch streets.12:52 a.m. Sunday — Ann-Marie Crawford, 38, of Butler was arrested for DUI on East Locust Street.Sunday — John C. Fefevre, 44, of Butler faces theft charges for allegedly taking a bicycle, valued at $300, from a Butler woman Sept. 26, and not returning it.
5:20 p.m. Sunday — A sport utility vehicle driven by Kara Isaacs, 20, of Butler and a car driven by Paul Peffer, 81, of Evans City collided on Route 68 near Silverton Drive in Oakland Township. Police said Isaacs faces a ticket for a left-turn violation.Sunday — Dennis W. Spellman, 27, of Butler is accused of stealing scrap metal on two occasions between Aug. 23 and Sept 13 from the farm of Richard Campbell on North Washington Road in Washington Township. Police said Spellman faces charges of theft and receiving stolen property.Sunday — Diana Pinkerton of Fenelton reported that someone between 1 and 6:50 a.m. stole a purse from her unlocked vehicle at the Route 422 trailer court in Clearfield Township.Sunday — Stephen Bursick of Pittsburgh reported that a handgun was taken from his camp on Parker Pike in Allegheny Township. The theft occurred between Wednesday and Sunday.11:24 p.m. Saturday — Charlotte Isett, 61, of Cranberry Township was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Interstate 79 in Cranberry Township. Troopers stopped Isett, who was traveling south in the northbound lane, after she apparently entered the interstate by way of the Route 528 ramp at Evans City.Police said Isett, in addition to DUI, face charges of reckless driving, careless driving, failure to obey a traffic control device, driving the wrong way on a one-way road, illegally entering a highway, and a lane violation.10 p.m. Saturday — Richard Nolan Jr., 39, of East Butler is accused of assaulting 40-year-old Bobbie Sue Covert of East Butler during an argument at a Grant Avenue home in East Butler. Police said Nolan is charged with simple assault and harassment.8:30 p.m. Saturday — Brian Logue, 36, of Chicora is accused of violating a protection from abuse order during a domestic dispute at a Trimbur Road home in Donegal Township. Police said Logue was later arrested following a traffic stop in Karns City.Police said Logue, in addition to violating the PFAissued to Lisa Logue of Chicora, also faces a charge for suspicion of DUI, stemming from the traffic stop.8:15 p.m. Saturday — Three 13-year-old boys are accused of stealing $250 and a skateboard from a Cabot woman's vehicle in the Holy Sepulcher Church parking lot in Middlesex Township. The boys, who police did not identify, face charges in juvenile court of theft from a vehicle.6:44 p.m. Saturday — A car driven by Sumedha Gupta, 27, of Seven Fields crashed into a guardrail on I-79 in Worth Township. Police said Gupta was cited for a lane violation.2:24 p.m. Saturday — Three people were hurt, two seriously, in a three-vehicle crash on Route 68 near Goose Haven Lane in Connoquenessing Township.Police said the wreck happened when a minivan driven by Robert T. Geisler, 24, of Coraopolis, Allegheny County, rear-ended a car driven by Roger W. Parker, 19, of Harmony. The van traveled into the opposite lane and collided head-on with a car driven by Walter M. Jack, 70, of Renfrew.Volunteer firefighters had to be called to free Jack and a passenger, Catherine M. Jack, 79, of Renfrew, from the wreckage of their car; both were wearing seat belts. Walter and Catherine Jack were flown by medical helicopters to Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh; their conditions were not known this morning.Police said Geisler, who was treated at Butler Memorial Hospital for unknown injuries, faces a ticket for careless driving in the crash, which closed Route 68 for about an hour.2:40 a.m. Saturday — An unknown driver in a black Dodge Ramp pickup truck hit a utility pole on Marwood Road near Ofgerner Road in Winfield Township and did not stop after the crash. The pole was knocked down, police said, and blocked both lanes.Saturday — An unknown burglar between Sept. 25 and Saturday broke into a Moran Road home near Herman Road in Summit Township. Nothing was taken in the burglary; however, the house sustained about $400 in damage.Thursday — Theft charges are pending against asuspect, who police did not identify, for stealing two aluminum boats between 8:30 and 9 a.m. from an unspecified location north of Etna Road in Slippery Rock Township. Richard Gray of West Sunbury owns the stolen property, valued at $1,400.
4:50 p.m. Friday — Brian M. Cain, 25, of Kittanning was hurt when the motorcycle he was driving crashed on Old Route 28 near Nickelson Run Road in North Buffalo Township. Cain, who was wearing a helmet, was treated for moderate injuries at ACMHHospital in Kittanning.Police said Cain was cited for driving too fast for conditions and careless driving.
2:45 p.m. Saturday — An unknown suspect, described only as a black male, passed a counterfeit 100-dollar bill at the Echo Unlimited store, Prime Outlets in Springfield Township.10:49 p.m. Wednesday — Vicki Lee Seelbaugh, no age given, of Grove City was arrested for allegedly stealing $169 in merchandise at the Wal-Mart store in Pine Township. Police said Seelbaugh faces retail theft charges in the case.
12:20 p.m. Friday — Thomas Edward Linton, 47, of New Castle was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence at Frew and Boak roads in Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County.
