7:50 a.m. Friday — A car driven by Deritha M. Kaiser, 45, of Butler struck a curb at the corner of Lyon and Morton avenues. One of the car's wheels was knocked off, but Kaiser was not injured.

2 a.m. Monday — A vehicle driven by Randy Kohnen, 30, of New Castle hit an embankment along Route 422 near Independence Lane. Kohnen was not injured.7:42 p.m. Sunday — A vehicle driven by Brandon J. Steere, 18, of Butler crashed into a tree along Kittanning Street near Portman Road. Steere and a juvenile passenger were taken by ambulance to Butler Memorial Hospital with minor injuries. Steere was cited for careless driving.Friday — A parked vehicle was struck by a hit-and-run vehicle in the 200 block of Grandview Boulevard between Thursday and Friday. The suspect car is white and should have damage along its passenger side, including a missing mirror. Anyone with information should call police at 724-285-9600.11:53 p.m. Thursday — A vehicle driven by Erin Appleton, 25, of Butler and a vehicle driven by Sheila Lessner, 49, of Butler collided at the intersection of Route 8 and Fairfield Lane. Lessner and an 11-year-old child in her car were taken by ambulance to Butler Memorial with unknown injuries. Appleton was cited for a traffic violation.8:02 p.m. Thursday — Ashley Brooks, 23, of Bentleyville was charged with retail theft after she allegedly tried to steal $142 worth of children's clothing from Wal-Mart.6:40 p.m. Thursday — Candise Morrison, 27, of Butler was charged with retail theft after she allegedly tried to steal $69 worth of clothing from Wal-Mart.11:18 a.m. Thursday — A vehicle driven by Drew Blasko, 19, of Butler and a vehicle driven by Norma Deer, 55, of Natrona Heights collided on Route 356 near Point Plaza. Deer was taken by ambulance to Butler Memorial Hospital with neck and back pain.10:24 p.m. Wednesday — Nicholas Sarver, 45, of Karns City was charged with DUI, reckless driving, driving at unsafe speed and several other traffic violations following a vehicle collision on Route 422. Sarver and the driver of the second vehicle, Karen Maust of Butler, were not injured.11:26 a.m. Wednesday — A pickup truck driven by James Joyce, 62, of Petrolia and a pickup truck driven by Cameron Barton, 17, of Kittanning collided on New Castle Road in front of Target. No injuries were reported.

5:54 p.m. Sunday — A car driven by William J. Frishkorn, 26, of Zelienople and an SUV driven by Adam S. Claypoole, 31, of Butler collided on Route 68 near Buss Lane in Connoquenessing. Frishkorn suffered a minor injury, while his passenger Krystal L. Bernauer, 25, of Cranberry Township, as well as Claypoole and his passenger Judith L. Claypoole, 44, of Butler, were not injured. Frishkorn was cited for a traffic violation.4:20 p.m. Sunday — Patricia Hetrick, 37, of Butler was charged with retail theft after she allegedly tried to steal merchandise from Boscov's at the Clearview Mall in Center Township.8:55 a.m. Sunday — An SUV slid off Doods Road near its intersection with Robinson Run in Penn Township, rolling onto its side. Police did not identify the vehicle's driver and no injuries were reported.1:30 a.m. Sunday — Someone stole three golf carts belonging to Timothy McNulty from a property along McNulty Lane in Harmony between 3 p.m. Thursday and 1:30 a.m. Sunday. Anyone with information should call police at 724-284-8100.3:23 p.m. Saturday — A car driven by Kristy D. Hovis, 20, of Butler and an SUV driven by Margaret M. Abulencia, 70, of Butler collided at the intersection of Route 308 and Holyoke Road. No one was injured, and Hovis was cited for a traffic violation.12:28 p.m. Saturday — A van driven by John M. Greenawalt, 44, of Butler hit a culvert and rolled onto its side along Shearer Road in Oakland Township. Greenawalt and his passenger Alice L. Evans, 22, of Butler each suffered minor injuries. Greenawalt was cited for driving at unsafe speed.8:25 a.m. Wednesday — A vehicle driven by Thomas M. Palmer, 56, of Sarver and a pickup truck driven by Frank W. Leslie, 53, of Butler collided on Route 356 near Renick Road. No one was injured, and Palmer was cited for driving at an unsafe speed.1:44 p.m. Dec. 22 — Becky Good, 46, and Danette M. Schaffhauser, 40, both of Ford City, were charged with retail theft after they allegedly stole several items from Sears in the Clearview Mall in Center Township.

1 a.m. Sunday — Someone took an LG-VX9700 cell phone belonging to Rikki L. Yourema of Sligo while she was at Savelli's Bar in Toby Township. Anyone with information should call police at 814-226-1710.

1:36 p.m. Dec. 22 — Rachael Leigh Willot, 18, of Greenville was charged with criminal trespass after she allegedly entered the Wal-Mart in Pine Township after being given written notice not to do so.9:28 a.m. Dec. 20 — A van driven by George R. Elder, 67, of Grove City and an SUV driven by Clifford E. Donaldson, 65, of Jackson Center collided on East Gilmore Road in Wolf Creek Township. Elder suffered a minor injury while Clifford Donaldson and his passengers, Sean E. Donaldson, 40, and Russ G. Donaldson, 38, both of Jackson Center, were not injured.11:10 a.m. Dec. 18 — Michael Edmiston, 21, of Beaver was cited for corruption of minors after he allegedly helped a juvenile commit truancy from Grove City High School between Dec. 15 and Dec. 18.

3 p.m. Sept. 23 — Cailyn A. Catanzrite, 22, of Beaver was charged with bad checks after she allegedly wrote an insufficient funds check to Sam Kerr of Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County.
