The 48th annual Elks Hoop Shoot free throw contest was held recently. The winners advanced to the district contest. Joining Elks Hoop Shoot director John Prokopchak, far left, are its winners, from left, Harper Geibel (age 8-9 girls), Macie McLister (10-11 girls), Hunter Knapik (8-9 boys), Stainton Forbes (10-11 boys) and Kyle Casteel (12-13 boys). Emma Shoemaker was the 12-13 girls winner. Kyle won the district Hoop Shoot and will advance to the state competition.
