11:28 p.m. Monday — A key to a luxury vehicle was found at the Butler Township Park on the ski slopes. The owner can claim the key at the police department at 290 S. Duffy Road. Police advise the owner to bring the vehicle with him or her.Sunday — Alexander Cash, 29, of Butler was arrested for felony drug possession after police were called to Hansen Avenue for a reported domestic dispute.Cash was arraigned on charges of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, two counts of possession of a controlled substance as well as simple assault, and placed in Butler County Prison on $20,000 bail.
A car driven by Nicole Roethlein, 23, of Georgetown, Pa., struck a cement cap housing for a sewer line along Route 173. Roethlein complained of back pain shortly after the accident.1:17 a.m. Friday — Michael Rodgers, 62, of Grove City was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after his vehicle got stuck after traveling off Summit Street.1:59 p.m. Dec. 2 — Vehicles driven by Robert McKnight, 18, and Jason Kummer, 30, both of Grove City collided in an alley off Gilmore Avenue between Edgewood Avenue and State Street.
9:40 a.m. Sunday — Two people were hurt when cars driven by Cassandra Hoak, 35, of Butler and Craig A. Harry, 27, of Harrisville collided on Route 8 in Clay Township.Hoak and a passenger in Harry's car, Catherine Harry, 26, of Harrisville, suffered minor to moderate injuries. Police said Hoak was cited for driving at an unsafe speed.1:05 a.m. Sunday — John E. Schell Jr., no age given, of Slippery Rock was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Route 173 in Brady Township.4:12 p.m. Saturday — Bryan A. Smith, 19, of Butler lost control of his car and struck another car on Route 108 at West Park Road in Worth Township. Robert W. Lanning, 60, of Slippery Rock, the other driver, suffered a minor injury. Police said Smith was cited for a lane violation.1:35 a.m. Friday — Brian Raymond Rice, 20, of New Castle was arrested after police were called for a fight at the Heights Apartments in Slippery Rock Township.Police said when they got there Rice ran across the parking lot at the apartment complex, and nearly was struck by vehicles. Troopers told him to stop but he refused, a police report said.Rice was arraigned on charges of resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, public drunkenness and underage drinking. Rice was placed in Butler County Prison and released Monday after posting $5,000 bail.Wednesday — A red, 1996 Jeep Cherokee Sport was stolen between midnight and 8:30 a.m. at a the Meridian Off Road parking lot in Franklin Township.
1:17 p.m. Friday — A car driven by Lorin E. Kaufman, 20, of Emlenton and a pickup truck driven by Jeffrey D. Banner, 31, of Seven Fields collided on Blairs Corners Road in Licking Township. Police said Kaufman was cited for driving at an unsafe speed.
