Dennis "Denny" Lee Kelly, 50, of Alta Loma, Calif., formerly of Slippery Rock, died Feb. 13 at his home.

Born in Grove City, Dec. 20, 1959, he was the son of Herbert Dennis Kelly and Mary Linda Edwards Kelly.

He was married to Rochelle Marie Eldridge-Scala Kelly.

He was a 1978 graduate of Slippery Rock High School and graduated in 1982 from Indiana (Pa.) University with a Bachelor of Science degree in safety.

Dennis was a safety and risk manager for the Morrow-Meadows Corp. for 16 years in the city of Industry, Calif.

He loved his dogs, Kelly and Mercedes, was an avid skier, and enjoyed playing guitar and drums.

Surviving are his wife, Rochell Kelly of Alta Loma; three sisters, Tina M. and her husband, William Hribal of Slippery Rock, Rebecca L. "Becky" and her husband, Kenneth Cress of Butler and Heidi M. and her husband, John Bumbaco of Grove City; and his maternal grandfather, Daniel Surrena of Slippery Rock. Also surviving are nieces and nephews, Josh and Nick Cress of Butler, Kailee, Dustin and Devan Hribal of Slippery Rock, and Hannah and Melinda Bumbaco of Grove City.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert D. Kelly and Mary L. Kelly; and grandparents, James B. Kelly Sr., Colena Steiner Kelly and Mary Arblaster Surrena.

<B>KELLY</B> — A Mass of Christian burial for Dennis "Denny" Lee Kelly, who died Saturday, Feb. 13, 2010, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 20, at the St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, 670 S. Main St., Slippery Rock, with the Rev. Father Kevin Poecking, pastor of the St. Peter Church, presiding. Interment will be in Slippery Rock Cemetery. There will be a reception following the service at the Eagles Nest, 427 Slippery Rock Road, Slippery Rock.Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.Arrangements are being handled by the <B>Smith Funeral Home</B>, Slippery Rock
