HARMONY — A Butler man who police pulled over for a broken brake light was charged with driving under the influence and drug possession.

According to a police report, Lucas Baer, 33, of Butler told police he smoked marijuana after leaving work the night of Dec. 8.

After failing a sobriety test, Baer was arrested. A pipe and a small bud of suspected marijuana were found in his vehicle.

A chemical blood test later showed Baer was positive for THC.

Baer faces three misdemeanor charges of DUI and one charge of drug possession.

He waived his charges Tuesday and was released on his own recognizance.

He will be arraigned in county court on March 27.
