Monday — Police filed drug charges against two men stemming from a traffic stop March 15 at Broad and New Castle streets.Charged are Dyonte Flynn, 23, of Butler, and Kevin M. Miller, 30, of Clearfield Township.Officers were looking for Flynn, who was wanted on a felony warrant for allegedly selling drugs in an unrelated case, when they stopped the car he was riding in.Flynn was searched and found with suspected crack cocaine, according to a police report. He was placed in the Butler County Prison on $250,000 bail in connection with the warrant that was previously issued to the Butler County Drug Task Force.Flynn, according to the warrant, in November sold crack cocaine to a police informant in Butler.Police on Monday filed additional felony and misdemeanor drug possession charges against him for the traffic stop.Miller, who was driving the car that officers stopped March 15, was found with suspected crack, heroin and other contraband, the police report said. He is charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance and a lone count of possession of drug paraphernalia.

11:41 p.m. Saturday — Joseph D. McGee, 30, was arrested after allegedly assaulting his girlfriend, Amanda Gibson, at the couple's Highland Avenue apartment in Meridian.A 911 hang-up call sent officers to the home, where they found Gibson with a bloody lip. She said McGee punched her, according to court documents.McGee had previously fled the apartment; but police later arrested him at a home on Cupps Road. He was arraigned on charges of simple assault and harassment, and placed in the Butler County Prison on $10,000 bail.12:22 p.m. Saturday — Marylee Beveridge, 49, of Butler was hurt when the car she was driving slid into a concrete barrier on Route 422. The accident happened when Beveridge hit her brakes to avoid a car that had come to a sudden stop. She was treated at Butler Memorial Hospital for minor injuries.9:53 p.m. Friday — A 17-year-old Butler boy was caught under the influence at a dance at the Butler Senior High School. Police said they cited the boy for underage drinking.5:15 p.m. Friday — Vehicles driven by Stephanie Maharg, 41, and Troy Parrott, 23, both of Butler collided at Acre Avenue and Whitestown Road. Maharg was cited for making an improper left turn.6:55 p.m. Thursday — Cynthia Warner, 49, of Butler is accused of causing a disturbance at Butler Memorial Hospital. Warner got into an argument with family members and BMH staff and had to be escorted off the hospital property, according to a police report. Police cited her for disorderly conduct.2:14 p.m. March 19 — Carrie Cubbage, 26, and Krystal Miller, 30, both of Butler were arrested after allegedly stealing $114.96 in merchandise from Sam's Club in the Moraine Pointe Plaza, and trying to return the items for a refund.Both women are charged with conspiracy to commit theft by deception. Additionally, Cubbage is charged with retail theft and Miller is charged with receiving stolen property.March 19 — Police filed drunken driving and other charges against Christopher Nunez, 27, of Butler stemming from a traffic stop at the Wal-Mart parking lot in Butler Commons.Nunez is charged with driving under the influence, driving without a license, driving with a suspended license, driving without valid inspection and failing to notify authorities of a change of address.

Friday — A set of keys were found in the 100 block of South Broad Street. The owner can claim the keys at the police station at 337 E. Pine St.Thursday — About 70 tablets of antiseizure drug clonazepam were taken from an unlocked vehicle on Madison Avenue. The theft happened Wednesday or Thursday.March 19 — An unidentified vehicle struck a car parked at Dr. Francis R. Landfair's dental office on Jackson Street. Anyone with information about the hit-and-run accident is asked to call police at 724-458-7925.March 7 — A 17-year-old girl allegedly hit a 17-year-old boy in the face at the Grove City High School. Police said they cited the girl for harassment.

11 a.m. Monday — Jeffrey R. Ford Jr., 20, of Butler was arrested after allegedly assaulting 42-year-old Jeffrey R. Ford of Butler at a home on Queens Junction Road in Clay Township. Ford was arraigned on charges of simple assault and harassment, and released on $30,000 unsecured bail.9:50 a.m. Monday — A car driven by Linda J. Skunda, 50, of Portersville crashed into a fence and tree in the yard of a Dick Road home in Connoquenessing Township. Police said Skunda was cited for a lane violation.8:41 a.m. Monday — A car driven by Cheryl A. Lathrop, 60, of Erie crashed into a guardrail and overturned on Interstate 79 in Jackson Township. Police said Lathrop was cited for driving too fast for conditions.

11:36 a.m. Wednesday — William J. Putorti, 74, of Slippery Rock was seriously injured when the pickup truck he was driving collided with a sport utility vehicle on Route 19 at the Carter Lumber store in Coolspring Township. Putorti's condition was not known this morning.The other driver, Ray C. Haight, 46, of, Mercer, suffered minor injuries. Both drivers were wearing seat belts. Putorti faces a ticket for failing to yield to other traffic.
