BUTLER TWP — Alameda Waterpark will open at 12:15 p.m. June 2, weather permitting.

The county Parks and Recreation Department said the water park, at 183 Alameda Park Road, will be open from 12:15 to 7 p.m. daily for public swimming through Aug. 26, weather permitting.

Memberships for all ages and family sizes can be purchased at the park office near the Carousel Shelter between 8:30 a.m. and 4:15 p.m. Monday through Friday.

[naviga:h3]Hydrant flushing set to start Tuesday[/naviga:h3]

BUFFALO TWP — The Municipal Authority of Buffalo Township will begin seasonal hydrant flushing Tuesday.

Crews will begin the project in Freeport and work north into the township.

Customers may experience low pressure and/or temporary water discoloration, and are advised to check their water before doing laundry.
