Patterson, 28, of Cabot was cited for criminal trespass after he was allegedly caught on Wal Mart property after having signed a statement acknowledging he was not permitted on the property.4:42 p.m. Wednesday — Devon Baptiste, 24, of Valencia was cited for retail theft after he allegedly took merchandise out of its package and put it in a similar box with a lesser price.9:56 a.m. Wednesday — A flatbed truck driven by William Schotten, 38, of Ohio and an SUV driven by Florence Richey, 47, of Butler collided on New Castle Road near Hindman Road.

Grove City PoliceWednesday — The BP gas station on West Main Street reported receiving a counterfeit $5 bill. In the past several weeks, counterfeit $5 bills have been used at several Grove City businesses. Police are advising businesses to be aware of the problem and report incidents.

State Police, Mercer1:57 p.m. Thursday — A car driven by Braden J. Bice-Moore, 24, of Mercer and a Hummer driven by Ronald F. Miller, 47, of Slippery Rock collided on Route 258 in Findley Township. No one was injured and police cited Miller for careless driving and driving without a license.
