8:06 p.m. Wednesday — Jason Losser, 25, was arrested for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend, 18-year-old Shannon Stempert, during a domestic dispute at the couple's Mercer Street home. Losser was arraigned on charges of simple assault and harassment, and placed in Butler County Prison on $1,500 bail.Tuesday — Police cited a Clay Township trucker after his rig got lodged under the South Monroe Street railroad bridge.The mishap about 5 a.m. forced the road to close in both directions from East Cunningham Street to McClain Street for several hours. Police also advised the Bessemer Railroad Co. to halt trains until an inspector could check the bridge for damage.Police said David Cousins, 53, was driving the tractor-trailer that missed — by about a foot and a half — getting through the railroad overpass, which is posted with a 12-foot clearance warning sign.The stuck trailer had to be unloaded and its cargo placed in another rig before it could be pulled out and towed away. Police said Cousins was cited for not obeying a low-clearance sign.

1:05 a.m. Wednesday — Carl Brammer, 57, of Foxburg, Armstrong County, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Main Street in Bruin.10:44 p.m. Tuesday — Harold Boyd, 47, of Gibsonia was arrested for suspicion of DUI on Route 588 in Zelienople.11:30 p.m. Saturday — A car driven by Sebastian Barrett, 18, of Ashland, Schuylkill County, struck a guardrail on Route 268 in Bruin.12:49 p.m. Dec. 2 — Albert Boughter, 47, of New Castle was arrested for allegedly violating a protection from abuse order following a traffic stop on Route 422 near the Lyndora exit in Butler Township, where he was found riding in a car with Sylvia Boughter, 41, of New Castle.Boughter was arraigned for the PFA violation and placed in the Butler County Prison.

10:40 p.m. Tuesday — Samuel C. Johns, 45, of Ford Cliff was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Route 28 in Buffalo Township, Butler County.
