7:57 p.m. Monday — Justin M. Scheehle, 21, of Lyndora is accused of violating a protection from abuse order after he called his estranged wife, 31-year-old Marilyn Scheehle, at her Wilson Avenue home. Scheehle told police that he "accidentally" called the woman on the telephone.Monday — The Pennsylvania license plate GXE0131 was reported taken from a car at the owner's South Street home or at the Greenview Gardens apartments on Greenview Drive.3:28 a.m. Saturday — Oscar Ray Sasse Jr., 38, was arrested for allegedly assaulting a woman during a domestic dispute at his Federal Street home.Sasse is accused of throwing a cell phone at the woman, who police did not identify in a news release, and hitting her twice in the face while she was holding the couple's 16-month-old daughter. He later warned her not to call police.The defendant was arraigned on charges of simple assault, terroristic threats, reckless endangerment and criminal mischief, and placed in the Butler County Prison on $3,000 bond.7:16 p.m. Thursday — A 16-year-old Renfrew girl was arrested for driving under the influence at McKinley Avenue and West Pearl Street.Police said a search of the girl's purse turned up drug-related contraband. The suspect, who police did not identify, is charged with DUI and possession of drug paraphernalia.Additionally, two passengers, Joshua Pascazi, 18, and James Walker Jr., 18, both of Butler, were cited for underage drinking.

9:26 a.m. Sunday — A car driven by Doreen Steighner, 69, of Butler and a minivan driven by Kenneth Ciroli, 57, of Indiana, Pa., collided at Route 68 and South Duffy Road.1:04 p.m. Saturday — A sport utility vehicle driven by Howard Graham, 67, of Butler and a pickup truck driven by Donald Jackman, 75, of Kane, McKean County, collided at Morton and Brown avenues. Jackman and a passenger in his pickup, who police did not identify, suffered minor injuries.11:59 p.m. Friday — An unidentified green Subaru Forester struck an SUV in the Regal Cinema parking lot, Moraine Pointe Plaza, and did not stop after the crash. The unknown hit-and-run driver is described as a white man in his 20s. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 724-285-9600.10:14 a.m. Friday — A car driven by John Halagich, 32, and a van driven by Mark McCandless, 44, both of Butler collided at North Duffy Road and Seneca Drive.

Sunday — An unknown thief made off with a 24-carat gold wedding band and a quarter-carat diamond wrap from a Davis Road home in Oakland Township. The theft occurred between May 23 and Monday.3:45 p.m. Sunday — A 5-year-old Karns City boy was hurt when a bike he was riding hit the side of a car on Troutman Road near Hooker Road in Concord Township. The boy, who police did not identify, was taken to ACMH Hospital in Kittanning with moderate injuries.1:05 a.m. Sunday — Dan Freehling, 52, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence at Sunset Drive and Mahood Road in Center Township.Sunday — An Xbox 360, three video games, a Nokia cell phone charger and black backpack were stolen between 4 and 10 a.m. from a Moraine Drive home in Muddy Creek Township.Friday — Police reported that a Lawrence County woman lied to authorities when she claimed she was abducted from the bike trail at Moraine State Park in Muddy Creek Township. Kimberly Wheeler, 28, of New Castle faces a charge of false report to law enforcement.Wheeler while at UPMC Passavant in Cranberry Township claimed she had been taken to an unknown house and physically and sexually assaulted. But the investigation, which included surveillance video, "revealed Wheeler had staged the incident, a police report said.1:46 a.m. Thursday — Mike Vinroe, 21, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of DUI on Route 8, Muddy Creek Flats in Clay Township.

11:10 p.m. Wednesday — A car driven by Andrew R. Buhr, 18, of Saxonburg struck a concrete bridge pier at Route 28 and Saxonburg Road in Harrison Township, Allegheny County. Police said Buhr was cited for driving too fast for conditions.Wednesday — Two Armstrong County men were arrested for allegedly breaking into a camp cabin on Cowanshannock Road in Rayburn Township in February. Charged with burglary, theft and criminal mischief are Glen Alan Westwood, 23, of Kittanning; and Timothy J. Bureau, 23, of Worthington.

5:10 p.m. Thursday — Cars driven by Melinda J. Reed, 20, of Grove City and Erik P. Anderson, 42, of Sandy Lake collided at East Gilmore Road and Route 173 in Wolf Creek Township. Police said Reed was cited for a stop sign violation.
