CONNOQUENESSING TWP — Kids Day America celebrates its 13th year promoting children’s health, safety and environmental awareness from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Butler Farm Show grounds on Route 68. Admission, parking and most events are free.

The day’s lineup includes bands, a petting zoo, hot air balloon rides, face painting, health check ups and scouting demonstrations by the Moraine Trails Council of the Boy Scouts of America.

Care Chiropractic, Renfrew, organizes the event annually to benefit a nonprofit group. This year, sponsor donations and proceeds from basket auctions and food sales will benefit the Moraine Trails Council. Last year, the event raised about $8,000 for the Autism Society of Butler County.
