6:12 p.m. Sunday — Holly Croll, 34, reported the theft of six pumpkins and a decorative flag, worth a total of $65, from her porch at 139 Glenn Ave. between noon and 6:12 p.m.2:32 a.m. Sunday — Gregory A. McCardle Jr., 28, of Butler was charged with driving under the influence-incapable of safe driving, driving under the influence-highest rate of alcohol, driving with a suspended license and not driving at a safe speed following a traffic stop on East Walnut Street. Two samples of McCardle's breath registered 0.195 percent and 0.185 percent. The minimum DUI level is 0.08 percent.10:24 p.m. Friday — Colleen Wells, 43, reported the theft of a Dalmatian statue from a porch at 212 Short St. earlier that day. The statue, which is worth $150, has a green base. The thief left a costume that the statue was wearing on the porch.3:15 p.m. Friday — Dana Sutton, 34, of Butler was charged with retail theft after allegedly shoplifting more than $88 worth of items, including perfume, pens and itch relief spray, from the Dollar General store on Main Street. Police say they found the items in her purse, in her waistband and her bra.
Sunday — Penn's Colony in Clinton Township reported the theft of an unspecified amount of copper wire from its Saxonburg Boulevard property between 3 p.m. Thursday and noon Sunday. Anyone with information about the theft should call police at 724-284-8100.11:30 p.m. Saturday — David James Lea of Brentwood, Nicholas Tomsho of West Mifflin and Aaron David Pollard of Allentown, whose ages were unavailable, were each arrested on drug possession charges.10:02 a.m. Saturday — An SUV driven by Brent Hilderbrand, 42, hit an embankment off Route 68 in Donegal Township twice. He was not injured. The Chicora Volunteer Fire Department assisted at the scene. The driver was cited for driving too fast for conditions.2:45 p.m. Friday — A car driven by Rachel Raducz, 17, of Butler hit a tree off O'Hara Road in Jefferson Township. Raducz received minor injuries. The Saxonburg Volunteer Fire Company and EMS assisted at the scene. The driver was cited for driving too fast for conditions.Thursday — Kristopher Toy, 23, of Cabot reported the theft of several unspecified items from his residence at 402 Leasureville Road between 9:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. Anyone with information about the theft should call police at 724-284-8100.Thursday — Jeffrey Kennedy, 46, of Connoquenessing Township reported the theft of an unspecified amount of cash and medication from his Cherry Blossom residence between 11 a.m. and noon.Thursday — Kurt Szymanski, 35, of Clinton Township reported the theft of two weed eaters and a backpack leaf blower from a utility trailer parked in his Glade Mill Run Road driveway. Anyone with information about the theft should call police at 724-284-8100.11:10 p.m. Oct. 9 — Ricky Robert Upton, 53, of Spring Creek, Pa., was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after police responded to a two-car accident at the intersection of Route 108 and Harmony Road in Slippery Rock Township.
6:49 a.m. — A pickup driven by Douglas Bach, 69, of Fombell hit a deer on Interstate 79 in Springfield Township. No injuries were reported.Wednesday — Kelly McKnight, 38, of Wolf Creek Township reported the theft of two jewelry boxes containing about 20 rings and necklaces worth a total of $500 from her unlocked residence at 2300 Scrubgrass Road between 6 p.m. Tuesday and 9 p.m. Wednesday.Noon Oct. 16 — Brenda York, 49, of Pine Township reported fraudulent use of her credit card to buy more than $300 over the Internet.
10:32 a.m. Friday — A car driven by Jonathan Adeitz, 20, of East Brady struck the rear of an SUV legally parked at a fuel pump in the Sunoco service station off Route 68 in Bradys Bend Township. No injuries were reported. Adeitz was cited for driving too fast for conditions.10:35 a.m. Oct. 13 — A car driven by Eric Patterson, 28, of Freeport hit a deer on Route 28 in South Buffalo Township. He was not injured.
Sunday — Elissa Sandock reported the theft of $40 from the bedroom in her Barkeyville residence at 5561 Route 8 between 5:45 a.m. and 3:15 p.m.
