Purvis Center receives grant help
The Jean B. Purvis Community Health Center has received a $27,000 grant from the Staunton Farm Foundation.
The grant will provide behavioral health services to uninsured individuals in the Butler County region.
Established in 2008, the center is a nonprofit organization that provides free medical care, basic dental care, behavioral health services and health and wellness education to eligible residents of the Butler County region.
The center relies completely on charitable gifts and foundation grants for its operation.
The Staunton Farm Foundation is an organization dedicated to improving the lives of people who live with mental illness and substance use disorders.
