Burke Road in Cranberry to be closed for work
CRANBERRY TWP — Burke Road in the township will be closed from June 17 to 22.
The closure will permit roadwork to be performed on Burke Road between Franklin Road and Serendipity Lane.
The contractor will work within the right of way and private property for several weeks to raise the low point in the road near Franklin Road and install new stormwater inlets.
Residents living within the designated work area will have access to and from their residence, but should anticipate possible delays during the designated work times.
Motorists traveling in this area should allow extra time for their travel and expect possible delays.
Detours are as follows:
Traffic westbound on Peters Road will be directed west to Franklin Road.
Continue west on Peters Road to the intersection at Franklin Road.
At the traffic signal at Franklin Road, turn left.
Travel south to Burke Road for approximately 2,360 feet to the end of the detour.
Traffic northbound on Franklin Road will be directed north to Peters Road.
Continue north on Franklin Road to the intersection at Peters Road.
At the traffic signal at Peters Road, turn right.
Travel east to Burke Road to the end of the detour.
