9:44 a.m. Wednesday —Kenneth Newton, 56, of Butler was hurt when the motorcycle he was driving collided with a minivan at West Cunningham and Pillow streets. Newton, who was wearing a helmet, suffered minor injuries. David Codispot, 39, of Butler was driving the van.3:13 p.m. Saturday — A minivan driven by Alice L. Evans, 22, of Butler struck a vehicle parked on Franklin Street. Evans, who did not stop after the accident, was cited for hit-and-run.

Tuesday — Police cited Country Fair on West Main Street after an alarm activation at 12:06 a.m. Sept. 12 sent officers to the store. It was the fourth false alarm in 12 months.Monday — An unknown burglar stole money and a small brown leather zipper-top purse from an unlocked home in the 900 block of Tidball Avenue. The theft happened between 10:30 p.m. Sunday and 8 a.m. Monday.Monday — An iPod Nano was stolen overnight from a vehicle in the driveway at a home in the 600 block of Stowe Street.
