SLIPPERY ROCK — District Judge Tim Shaffer recently heard these cases filed by state police:

Randall B. Boyles III, 23, of Chester, Pa., was held for court on charges of driving under the influence and speeding, filed April 27 by Slippery Rock University police.

Wiliam D. Bryant, 58, of Pittsburgh was held for court on a charge of simple assault, filed Oct. 22 by state police.

Anthony DeAngelo, 64, of Butler waived to court charges of DUI and speeding, filed April 8 by state police.

Kolter J. Furka, 23, of Renfrew waived to court charges of driving under the influence of alcohol and a controlled substance, possessing a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, driving an unregistered vehicle, driving without insurance, disregarding traffic lanes, following too closely to another vehicle and careless driving, filed April 6 by state police.

Ryan P. McCandless, 32, of Ellwood City waived to court charges of theft and receiving stolen property, filed June 19.

Rachael M. Shaffer, 31, of Ellwood City waived to court charges of theft and receiving stolen property, filed June 19.

Vincent E. Simpronio, 55, of Prospect waived to court charges of DUI and possessing drug paraphernalia, filed Feb. 23 by state police.

Shane J. Wentworth, 32, of Polk, Venango County, pleaded guilty to charges of driving a vehicle not equipped with a court-ordered ignition interlock device and speeding, filed April 30 by Harrisville police. Wentworth was ordered to pay $567.50 in fines and court costs.

Richard D. Wissinger, 23, of Butler waived to court charges of possessing with intent to deliver a controlled substance and intent to possess a controlled substance, filed April 21 by the Butler County Drug Task Force.

District Judge Lewis StoughtonCHICORA — District Judge Lewis Stoughton recently heard these cases filed by state police:Jaime R. King, 28, of Oil City, Venango County, waived to court a charge of unauthorized use of a vehicle, filed June 26.Jennifer Ann Martz, 40, of Chicora waived to court charges of theft, receiving stolen property, criminal mischief and disorderly conduct, filed June 9.
